Introducing our first artist in residence, Fredrik Karell

Fredrik’s illustrations are currently bringing colour to our menu. He’s a hybrid artist known for his playful work, ranging from personal art projects to big company branding

In our conversation, we spoke about creative slumps, staying curious, and finding new ways forward when things feel stuck. It’s something we recognise in the kitchen as well. Creativity isn’t constant, it moves, and often the best ideas come when you least expect them.

With this residency, we want to open up Nolla a bit further and invite local doers to take part in how we tell our story. For us, it’s another way of getting to know our community, sharing ideas, and letting different perspectives shape what we do.
